PVR INOX has launched Bengaluru’s largest cinema at Phoenix Mall of Asia and its largest cinema in South. The 14-screen Megaplex located in the largest and one of the most premium malls in Bengaluru features three premium formats - MX4D, ScreenX, and Insignia. 

The company also introduced the first MX4D, the immersive 4D movie experience and ScreenX, 270-degree cinema viewing in South India. The new cinema will augment PVR INOX foothold in Bengaluru with 172 screens in 26 cinemas and in the state of Karnataka with 219 screens in 37 cinemas. The company consolidates its presence in South India to a total of 572 screens in 100 properties.

PVR INOX has opened its new 9-screen multiplex in the city of Kochi, Kerala. Located at Forum Mall, the new property sets a new benchmark of entertainment in the city featuring the first P[XL] screen format in Kerala and the largest screen in Kochi City. Additionally, the cinema also features 2 LUXE audis for a luxurious cinematic experience. With this launch, PVR INOX has augmented its presence in the city of Kochi with 22 screens across 3 properties and consolidated its foothold in Kerala with 42 screens in 6 properties and 558 screens across 99 properties in South.

Strategically located at the second biggest mall of Kochi at Kundanoor, Maradu the cinema can accommodate 1489 guests and introduces PVR's premium large screen cinema format, P[XL] for an enigmatic experience. Sarda Energy & Minerals (SEML) has incorporated a Joint Venture subsidiary company ‘Bartunga Coal’ (BCPL). BCPL has been incorporated as a Special Purpose Vehicle for carrying out the Re-opening, Salvaging, Rehabilitation, Development and Operation of Bartunga Hill Coal Mine of South Eastern Coalfileds. Welspun Corp’s step down subsidiary -- Sintex Advance Plastics (SAPL) has planned to set up a manufacturing facility for Plastic Pipes and Water Storage Tanks in Madhya Pradesh for an approximate investment of Rs 400 crore. PVR INOX has opened 18 screens across 2 new multiplexes - 14 screens in Pune and 4 screens in Patna. The launch of these cinemas aligns with its medium and long-term strategy of expanding its screen presence across pivotal markets. The company consolidates its presence in West with 361 screens in 79 properties and 142 screens in 37 properties in East.

The new 14-screen Megaplex at Phoenix Mall of the Millennium, Wakad, Pune is the first cinema in the city featuring a colossal 14 screens, including 2 INSIGNIA, 1 IMAX, 1 MX4D, 1 KIDDLES and 9 Premiere auditoriums with last row celebrity recliners.
