Chennai Petroleum Corporation has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2024.

The company has reported 39.02% fall in its net profit at Rs 612.38 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1004.19 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 2.46% at Rs 20826.44 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 21351.98 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 38.01% fall in its net profit at Rs 627.89 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 1012.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 2.46% at Rs 20826.44 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 21351.83 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. 

For the year ended March 31, 2024, the company has reported 23.27% fall in its net profit at Rs 2711.25 crore as compared to Rs 3533.81 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 12.80% at Rs 79285.50 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 90923.39 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.

For the year ended March 31, 2024, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 22.27% fall in its net profit at Rs 2745.07 crore as compared to Rs 3531.53 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 12.79% at Rs 79283.01 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 90915.49 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.
