16-May-2024 Hindustan Aeronautics reports 52% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit <p style="text-align: justify;">Hindustan Aeronautics has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2024.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The company has reported 51.06% rise in its net profit at Rs 4,292.04 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,841.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.96% at Rs 15,325.86 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 13,216.54 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">On consolidated basis, the company has reported 52.19% rise in its net profit at Rs 4,308.68 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 2,831.19 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.96% at Rs 15,326.06 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 13,216.90 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">For the year ended March 31, 2024, the company has reported 30.70% rise in its net profit at Rs 7,595.04 crore as compared to Rs 5,811.17 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 12.87% at Rs 32,279.38 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 28,599.65 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">For the year ended March 31, 2024, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 30.77% rise in its net profit at Rs 7,620.95 crore as compared to Rs 5,827.73 crore for the previous year. 16-Apr-2024 Hindustan Aeronautics informs about clarification <div>With reference to email dated 15th April, 2024 received from NSE and BSE for verification of media report ‘Hindustan Aeronautics bags order for 97 Tejas Fighter Jets from Defence Ministry', Hindustan Aeronautics has&nbsp;clarified that, only Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued to HAL in April 2024 and the contract is yet to be signed. Further, it would like to inform that, Acceptance of Necessity (AON) was accorded by Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) in November 2023 for procurement of LCA Tejas MK1A aircraft from HAL, which was informed to the Stock Exchanges on 30th November, 2023. Subsequently, HAL received Request for Proposal (RFP) for 97 LCA Tejas MK1A aircraft in April 2024. On submission of price bid by HAL, contract negotiations would be held with the customer and subsequently the contract with IAF will get concluded; Since, only RFP has been received by the Company, and the process as explained above needs to be followed before conclusion of the Contract, the subject news article does not fall under the purview of Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
