09-Apr-2024 REC, Prestige Estates Projects and SJVN to see some action today <p style="text-align: justify;"><b>REC </b>has made record loan sanctions worth Rs 3,58,816 crore during 2023-24, posting a year-on-year rise of 33.66%. It had sanctioned Rs 2,68,461 crore as loan during the preceding 2022-23 fiscal. Its loan disbursements stood at Rs 1,61,462 crore in 2023-24 as against Rs 96,846 crore in 2022-23, i.e. up by 66.72%. As of March 31, 2024, the company's loan book was at Rs 5,09,545 crore, higher 17.13% as against Rs 4,35,012 crore in FY23.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>Prestige Estates Projects </b>has reported 63% annual increase in sales bookings during FY24 at Rs 21,040 crore --an all-time high, on strong demand for its residential properties and higher average per square feet realisation. The company's sales bookings stood at Rs 12,931 crore in the financial year 2022-23. The company attained the highest-ever annual collections of Rs 11,954 crore for FY24, a growth of 22% year-on-year (YoY). It achieved record sales bookings in volume terms as well totaling 20.25 million square feet in 2023-24, up 34% in the previous year.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>SJVN</b>'s wholly owned subsidiary -- SJVN Green Energy (SGEL) has signed a Joint Venture Cum Shareholders Agreement with Assam Power Distribution Company (APDCL) on April 8, 2024. 08-Apr-2024 Godrej Consumer Products' India organic business witnesses strong underlying volume growth in Q4 <p style="text-align: justify;">Godrej Consumer Products' India organic business witnessed strong underlying volume growth (Q4FY24) at high-single digit with growth being broad-based across both Home Care and Personal Care. While demand in Household Insecticides has been subdued due to an extended winter in the North and East, its GoodKnight Agarbatti launch was well received by consumers. Reported underlying volume growth continue to be in double-digit.<br>Its Indonesia business continues to consistently deliver strong performance with double digit volume growth and sales growth. The GAUM (Godrej Africa, USA, and Middle East) organic business delivered high single digit volume growth along with double-digit constant currency sales growth. However, due to Naira devaluation in January, sales in INR terms will see double-digit decline.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">At a consolidated level (organic), the company expects to deliver underlying volume growth of high single digit and sales growth of mid-single digit driven largely by currency volatility. EBITDA (including forex) margin continues to expand year-on-year despite increased media investments. Godrej East Africa Holdings, Mauritius.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Upon the completion of the deal, Godrej East Africa Holdings along with its step down subsidiaries viz. DGH Tanzania, Mauritius, Charm Industries, Kenya and Sigma Hair Industries, Tanzania will cease to be subsidiaries of the Company. 02-Nov-2023 Godrej Consumer Products reports 21% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit <p style="text-align: justify;">Godrej Consumer Products has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2023 (Q2FY24).&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The company has reported 47.74% rise in its net profit at Rs 484.87 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to Rs 328.19 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.56% at Rs 2325.76 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 2012.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">On consolidated basis, the company has reported 20.60% rise in its net profit at Rs 432.77 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 358.86 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. 02-Nov-2023 G R Infraprojects, Maruti Suzuki and NBCC to see some action today <p style="text-align: justify;"><b>G R Infraprojects</b> has entered into Share Purchase Agreement with Aadharshila Infratech for transfer of 21% Equity shares being held by the company in its wholly owned subsidiary namely Nagaur Mukundgarh Highways (NMHPL). Therefore, upon completion of the aforesaid transfer, NMHPL would cease to be wholly owned subsidiary of the Company and will become subsidiary of the Company. Nagaur Mukundgarh Highways is not a material subsidiary of the Company.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>Maruti Suzuki India </b>has reported its highest-ever monthly sales at 1,99,217 units in October 2023, a 19 per cent year-on-year growth. The company had dispatched 1,67,520 units in October 2022. The company has reported its best-ever domestic monthly dispatches in October at 1,77,266 units, up 21 per cent from 1,47,072 units in the year-ago period. Its total domestic passenger vehicle sales rose to 1,68,047 units last month from 1,40,337 units in October 2022. Sales of mini segment cars, comprising Alto and S-Presso, declined to 14,568 units against 24,936 units in October 2022.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>NBCC (India)</b> has received two orders worth Rs 100.79 crore. The first order worth Rs 60.79 crore is for providing and fixing LED Flood Light in Dampa Tiger Reserve Forest (DTRF) area near BP-2313 to near 2305/2-RI in Mizoram State along Indo-Bangladesh Border (approximate length:60 KM), while the second order worth Rs 40.00 crore is for Construction of Phase A and B works for JNV Khagariya (Bihar).</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>Bondada Engineering </b>has received an addendum work order from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) for providing infrastructure as a Service (IaaSP) for supply and erection of GBT, Infrastructure as a Service Provider (IaaSP) for supply installation of Infrastructure Item and subsequent O&amp;M for 5 years , amounting to Rs 381.28 crore.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>Godrej Consumer Products</b> has received approval for incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company in India. The proposed wholly owned subsidiary Company to be incorporated shall engage in the business of manufacture, sale and export of Personal &amp; Household care products. The company is planning to start manufacturing operations in the new company by February 2024. The Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on November 01, 2023 has approved the same.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>JK Tyre &amp; Industries</b>' board has approved expansion for enhancement of tyre manufacturing capacity with investment of Rs 1025 crore. The proposed capacity is expected to be added by October 2025. The said project is proposed to be funded by way of Equity / Internal Accruals and Debt. The Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on November 01, 2023 has approved the same.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>Ashok Leyland</b> has reported 13% growth in its total sales, including exports, at 16,864 units in October 2023 as compared to 14,863 units in October 2022. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales stood at 6,679 units in October 2023. Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&amp;HCV) Trucks and bus sales stood at 8,454 units and 1,731 units, respectively.</p>
