Further to its letter dated 17 April 2024, intimating about the meeting of the board of directors of the Company to be held on 22 April 2024, in respect of the Offer, Vodafone Idea has informed that the Board, at its meeting held today 22 April 2024 has approved and adopted the prospectus dated 22 April 2024 (the ‘Prospectus’), in connection with the Offer. The Prospectus has been filed with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat at Ahmedabad, and submitted to the Securities and Exchange Board of India, BSE and National Stock Exchange of India. Further, following resolutions were also passed: a. Determined and approved the Offer Price of ? 11 per Equity Share and b. Approved the Anchor Investor Offer Price of ? 11 per Equity Share. The meeting of the Board commenced at 9:00 pm and concluded at 10:00 pm. All capitalized terms referred to herein shall have the meaning as ascribed to them in the Prospectus unless defined otherwise.

Vodafone Idea is eyeing to roll out 5G services in select pockets in 6-9 months after Rs 18,000 crore further public offer (FPO) issues. The 5G rollout will cover 40% of the company's overall revenue base in the next 24-30 months. A sum of Rs 5,720 crore has been allocated for the rollout.

Vodafone Idea has received approval to launch up to Rs 18,000 crore follow-on public offer (FPO). The shareholders can bid for the FPO between April 18, 2024 and April 22, 2024.  The Capital Raising Committee in its meeting held on April 12, 2024 approved the price band for the FPO issuance.

The higher end of the price band i.e. Rs 11 is at a discount of 26% compared to recently approved preferential issue price to the promoter entity at Rs 14.87 and a discount of 15% compared to last closing price of Rs 12.95.
