25-Apr-2024 Nestle India reports 27% rise in Q1 net profit <p style="text-align: justify;">Nestle India has reported results for first quarter (Q1) ended March 31, 2024.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The company has reported 26.81% rise in its net profit at Rs 934.17 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 736.64 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.84% at Rs 5294.34 crore for March quarter as compared to Rs 4864.22 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Nestle India is a subsidiary of Nestle S.A. of Switzerland, a vibrant company that provides consumers in India with products of global standards.</p>
25-Apr-2024 Nestle India to form Joint Venture with Dr. Reddy's <p style="text-align: justify;">Nestle India has received approval for execution of a definitive agreement with Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (Dr. Reddy's) to form a joint venture and to bring together the well-known global range of nutritional health solutions as well as vitamins, minerals and health supplements of Nestle Health Science with the nutraceuticals portfolios, strong and established commercial strengths of Dr. Reddy's in India and other geographies as may be agreed by the Parties. The joint venture is expected to become operational in the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25, subject to customary closing conditions. The Board of Directors of the Company, at its meeting held on April 25, 2024, has approved the same.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The joint venture company would be formed with Dr Reddy's holding 51% and Nestle India's holding 49%. The company has a call option to increase shareholding upto 60% after six years at a Fair Market Value. 08-Apr-2024 Nestle India gets board's nod for hiking royalty payment to parent company <p style="text-align: justify;">Nestle India has received approval from board of directors for increasing general licence fees (royalty) by company to its parent firm -- Societe des Produits Nestle SA ((Licensor), by 0.15% annually for the next five years, thereby enhancing it to 5.25% of net sales, with effect from July 1, 2024. The current license fees is 4.5% per annum. 27-Jan-2024 Nestlé India informs about loss of share certificates <div style="text-align: justify;">In terms of Regulation 39(3) of the Listing Regulations, Nestlé India has informed that it enclosed the intimation received from the Registrar and Share Transfer Agent - Alankit Assignments regarding information of loss of share certificate(s) for 1 folio on 25th January 2024. As required under SEBI Master Circular No. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/POD-1/P/CIR/2023/70 dated 17th May 2023, the Company shall issue ‘Letter of Confirmation/ Entitlement Letter' to the shareholder(s)/ claimant(s) after compliance of required formalities and due diligence.
