Grasim Industries reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023.

The company has reported 91.24% fall in its net profit at Rs 93.51 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,068.03 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 4.62% at Rs 6,762.25 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 6,463.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 42.13% fall in its net profit at Rs 2,355.67 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 4,070.46 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 16.18% at Rs 33,682.49 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 28,991.25 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company has reported 30.40% fall in its net profit at Rs 2,123.73 crore as compared to Rs 3,051.27 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 28.07% at Rs 27,858.05 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 21,752.15 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 1.14% fall in its net profit at Rs 11,078.20 crore as compared to Rs 11,206.29 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 25.61% at Rs 121,239.13 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 96,522.47 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
