This assembly line has been added to the existing Plant-A of the 3 manufacturing plants at Manesar. The new vehicle assembly line has the capability to manufacture 100,000 units per annum. 02-Apr-2024 Maruti Suzuki India reports 10% rise in total sales in March 2024 <p style="text-align: justify;">Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) has reported a 10.07% year-on-year increase in total wholesales at 187,196 units in March 2024. The company had dispatched a total of 170,071 units in the same month last year.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The total domestic passenger vehicle sales grew 15.26% at 161,304 units in March 2024 as against 139,952 units in the month a year ago. Sales of mini segment cars, comprising Alto and S-Presso, increased to 11,829 units in March 2024 as against 11,582 units in March 2023.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Sales of compact cars, including Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S, and WagonR, also declined by 2.77% to 69,844 units in March 2024 as compared to 71,832 units in the year-ago month. Utility vehicles, including Brezza, Ertiga, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, S-Cross and XL6, recorded sales of 58,436 units last month, growing 57.70% over 37,054 units in the month a year ago. The company had a total production of 154,148 units in the same month a year ago. 26-Mar-2024 Maruti Suzuki recalls over 16,000 units of Baleno, WagonR <p style="text-align: justify;">Maruti Suzuki India is recalling over 16,000 units of Baleno and WagonR to fix a possible defect in a part of the fuel pump motor. The company is recalling 11,851 units of Baleno and 4,190 units of WagonR manufactured between July 30, 2019 and November 1, 2019.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">It is suspected that there is a possible defect in a part of the fuel pump motor, which in a rare case may lead to engine stalling or engine starting issue.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Maruti Suzuki India is an automobile manufacturer in India. 26-Mar-2024 Adani Ports, PNB and KP Energy to see some action today <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone</span> (APSEZ), India's largest ports and logistics company, has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase the 56% stake of the SP Group and 39% of Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL) in Gopalpur Port (GPL). The acquisition is made at an enterprise value of Rs 3,080 crore, and the transaction is subject to statutory approvals and fulfilment of other conditions precedents.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Punjab National Bank</span> (PNB) has raised Rs 1859 crore through the allotment of 8.47% Unsecured, subordinated, non-convertible, fully paid-up, perpetual, taxable, Basel Ill compliant bonds on private placement basis.
